Nuria García Montiel is a Producer of Films, Advertisements, Opera and Documentaries.
 She has worked mainly as a producer, director, chief and production coordinator in Advertising, Opera, Events, Corporate Videos and Projects based on the use of New Technologies. She has directed the production of international projects for COCA COLA, SCHWEPPES, ORANGE, SABADELL, IKEA, LA CAIXA, ENDESA, REAL MADRID, LA MUTUA, LOEWE and MOVISTAR, among other brands.


She is also the Director of Production in A Coruña Opera Season, with operas such as “Don Giovanni”, “Don Carlo”, “Il Pirata”, “Serse”, “Lucrezia Borgia”, “Falstaff”, “Un Ballo in Maschera” and “Il barber di Siviglia”, among other concerts and zarzuelas.


She also writes, directs, produces and edits her own projects. Her script THE GARDEN was selected for the second round at SUNDANCE. And her last short film "Together Forever" (Contigo Siempre) was awarded for best screenplay at the Delhi International Short Film Festival in India and the International Film Festival in Zaragoza. Also, it was nominated and officially selected for the Soho International Film Festival in New York City, the Los Angeles Women ́ s International Film Festival in California, the Nile's Diaspora International Film Festival in Uganda, the Women's International Film Festival in Santiago de Chile.




Nuria studied Film Direction at the New York Film Academy, Digital Media Production, New Technologies and 3D at the Arts University in Bournemouth, a Master in Production and Audiovisual Management in “La voz de Galicia”, Theatre Pedagogy Degree at the Universidade da Coruña, Commedia dell’Arte in the Université D’Avignon and other short courses on photography, lighting, Movie Magic, foreign trade, television formats, copyright, etc.


During her career as producer and director, she has had the opportunity to work with renowned directors such as Carlos Saura in the Opera Don Giovanni (2019), Pedro Almodóvar in The Skin I Live In (2012) and Álex de la Iglesia in El Bar (2016).
